About

The species come from research-grade iNaturalist observations near the place, in the same month of past years. Each line starts from the sentences in the species' Wikipedia description. Gemma 3 rewrites them on your device, and a line that uses a word, number or colour those sentences don't back up is tried once more, then replaced by a quote.

There is no server. Your last choices stay in this browser. A location from your device is rounded to about a kilometre before it goes to iNaturalist and Open-Meteo, and the model never sees it. Source and evaluation on GitHub (MIT).
